Editorial appeals
Authors may appeal a rejection when they can demonstrate a material factual, procedural, ethical, or interpretive error. Disagreement with reviewer opinion alone is insufficient. An appeal is assessed by an editor not materially involved in the original decision where practicable.
Complaints
Complaints about conduct, conflicts, delays, published content, or journal processes should be sent to eureka.herba.indonesia@gmail.com. If the complaint concerns the Editor-in-Chief, it is referred to the publisher or a non-conflicted senior editor.
Outcome
EHI records the concern, reviews relevant evidence, provides a reasoned response, and takes corrective action when warranted. Outcomes may include clarification, process correction, editorial reassessment, correction, expression of concern, or retraction.
