Editorial authority

The Editor-in-Chief and delegated editors control manuscript screening, reviewer selection, evaluation, and publication decisions. Decisions are based on scholarly and ethical criteria. The publisher, the collaborating institution, APC revenue, advertising, sponsorship, and personal interests do not determine acceptance.

Non-interference

HM Publisher undertakes not to intervene in the assessment or the outcome of any manuscript, and has no access to editorial decisions before they are communicated to authors. No commercial relationship — with an author, an institution, a funder, a supplier of plant material or reagents, or a service provider — confers any influence over a decision. An attempt to exert such influence is itself reportable under Research Misconduct.

Recusal

Editors disclose relevant interests and recuse themselves whenever their independence could reasonably be questioned. Submissions from editors, board members, publisher staff, or close collaborators are reassigned to a non-conflicted editor and held to the same review standards. If you believe independence has been compromised

Write to eureka.herba.indonesia@gmail.com. Complaints about the conduct of an editor, the publisher, or the journal are handled under Complaints and Appeals, by a person who is not the subject of the complaint.
