When the fee applies
The APC is requested only after formal editorial acceptance. There is no submission fee, peer-review fee, or mandatory fee before acceptance. Payment does not influence peer review and does not guarantee publication.
What the APC supports
The APC supports editorial administration, online publication, metadata preparation, DOI and platform services, long-term journal operations, and public access to the version of record.
Transparency
Authors receive payment instructions only from the authorised editorial office. EHI does not impose undisclosed mandatory charges.
