Every claim on this page can be checked. Each service below links to the record or search in which Eureka Herba Indonesia can be found, so that no reader has to take the journal’s word for it. Section 3 states plainly what the journal does not claim.

Where a service’s coverage of EHI is partial — because harvesting runs on the service’s own schedule, not the journal’s — the record in that service governs, not this page.

2. What the journal does to be indexable

Inclusion in an index is granted by that service, not claimed by the journal. What EHI controls is meeting the conditions that every reputable service requires:

  • a registered e-ISSN and a stable journal title;
  • a registered DOI for every article, with metadata deposited to Crossref and kept resolvable;
  • structured metadata in English for every article — title, authors with affiliations, abstract, keywords, references — exposed through an OAI-PMH interface for harvesting;
  • documented peer review, with the process and its records described in Peer Review and Editorial Process;
  • a stated and observed publication schedule; see Publishing Schedule;
  • an explicit licence on every article and a clear statement of author rights; see Licensing Policy and Copyright Notice;
  • published editorial and ethical policies, indexed at Journal Policies;
  • digital preservation and self-archiving arrangements; see Digital Preservation and Self-Archiving;
  • a named, contactable editorial office and transparent ownership; see Ownership and Management Information.

3. Claims the journal does not make

EHI is not indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed/MEDLINE, or the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the journal makes no such claim anywhere. Any website, email, or agent stating otherwise in the journal’s name is not acting for EHI and should be reported to eureka.herba.indonesia@gmail.com.

Being cited in a database is not being indexed by it. The journal publishes a record of citations to EHI articles found in Scopus and Dimensions at Citedness in Scopus and Dimensions. That page counts citations received from articles that those databases index. It is evidence that EHI work is read and used by authors publishing in indexed venues; it is not evidence that EHI is itself indexed in Scopus, and it is never to be presented as such.

Similarly, EHI does not describe itself by any metric it has not earned: it publishes no impact factor, and it does not use the words “impact factor” for an indicator issued by a service that does not calculate one. Where a quantitative indicator is reported, the source and the date are stated with it.

4. Applications and changes

Where EHI applies for inclusion in a further service, this page is updated only once inclusion has been granted and can be verified by a reader. A pending application is not listed as an index, and is not described as “in process”, “under review”, or “soon indexed” in any of the journal’s material. Should a service discontinue its coverage of EHI, the entry is removed from this page rather than left standing.

5. Reporting an inaccurate claim

Overstated indexing misleads authors about where their work will be discoverable, and under Indonesian national journal accreditation it is treated as a serious breach. If you find a claim on this website, in a call for papers, in an email, or in any material issued in the journal’s name that you cannot verify in the service named, write to eureka.herba.indonesia@gmail.com with the wording and where you saw it. The journal will correct it and say publicly that it has done so.
